Job description

This major UK based Engineering Consultancy is currently looking for a senior level finance professional to assume the high-profile role of Finance Director for their Middle East region. Reporting into the Divisional Managing Director, you key responsibilities will include: Oversee the production of both financial and management accounts for the division. Develop strategic models to assist senior management to understand and plan the shape of the business. Act as key financial advisor to senior management team, especially the Managing Director providing timely and accurate information. Prepare consistent budgets and forecasts across all business units and divisions. Ensure compliance to Group directives covering tax and statutory reporting. Implement improved IT systems in line with Group standards in order to facilitate improved financial reporting. As a qualified Accountant, you will have proven your credentials at a senior level already and will be keen to now operate on an International stage. Experienced in managing both people and projects, only candidates with experience in either an Engineering Consultancy or Construction business can be considered. This is an excellent opportunity to go straight into a senior high profile role within a large well-respected organisation where future progression will be extremely tangible. Please note that you must have experience from within a UK based plc to be considered for this role.
